THE
UNLEARNING
SERIES
“What We Were Taught.
What We're Learning.
What We're Reclaiming.”

Skincare education has long told
melanin-rich skin what it is not,
rather than what it is.
For decades, ingredients were formulated without us. Clinical trials rarely included us. Educational curricula treated our skin as a variation on a standard — rather than as a standard in its own right.
Beautélanin™ was built to address those gaps. Not through rejection of science, but through an honest examination of which science has been applied, which populations it has centered, and which questions it has failed to ask.
The Unlearning Series is an invitation to look more carefully at assumptions we inherited, language we accepted without question, and the biology we may have misread because it was seen through the wrong lens.
