THE RITUAL PORTFOLIO
Skin That Speaks. Faces That Remember.
Where every treatment is testimony, not transformation.
We don’t promise new skin here; we restore the memory of what’s always been whole.
Each ritual below tells the story of skin that chose repair over rush, reverence over erasure.
Captured inside the Beautélanin™ classroom and clinic, these are our quiet rebellions —
one face, one barrier, one layer at a time.
M-R-B-U-P™ WAX RESPONSE ANALYSIS
M — Melanin Density (Likely MD 4–5 on your 1–5 scale)
Visible indicators:
• Upper-lip and perioral area naturally hyper-reactive
• Lip melanin is high-density (deep violet-brown) : VERY common in melanated clients
• Underarm pigment distribution suggests high melanocyte activity + friction history
Why it matters:
Clients with high MD scores don’t burn first; they darken, thicken, and linger*.
This explains why even a clean wax will immediately deepen the lip area for her.
P — Pigment Memory & Mapping (P 4–5)
This is the client’s strongest category.
• She has micro-shadowing around the lip
• Underarm hyperpigmentation follows the exact pattern of where irritation historically occurred
• Follicular points are visible → she marks easily from pimples or ingrowns
This indicates deep pigment memory-any trauma creates a “map” and stays.
R — Reactivity / Inflammatory Response (R 3–4)
Visible indicators in the client’s photo:
• Mild diffuse erythema (melanin version = warm brown flush, not red)
• Slight swelling at the lip border
• Underarms show micro-edema + follicular “peppering” after waxing
• Her healed marks under the arm suggest she is prone to PIH after friction or plucking
Interpretation:
Her skin reacts moderately fast and moderately deep → not “sensitive,” but highly melanocyte-responsive.
Beautélanin™ Skin Behavior Interpretation- Melanin-Safe Esthetics
B — Barrier Behavior (B 2–3)
Observations:
• Upper lip appears slightly dry/dehydrated pre-wax
• Underarms show textural dryness + tiny keratotic plugs
• Barrier isn’t broken, but not at full strength
Barrier is not compromised, but also not optimal.
This predicts delayed reaction within 24–48 hours if home care is not followed.
FINAL SCORE (M-R-B-U-P™):
MD 4 — R 4 — B 3 — U 4 — P 5
Total Weighted Profile: HIGH RESPONSIVITY + HIGH MEMORY
This means:
Client can be waxed safely
But she must be treated like a melanin-rich client with strong pigment memory
Proper waxing technique matters
Aftercare is EVERYTHING for her
U — UV Legacy & Pigment Activation (U 3–4)
Visible indicators:
• Uneven tone in the perioral area
• Underarm darkening that follows friction + hormonal pattern
• Suggests long-term melanocyte memory from past irritation
Meaning:
Client is the type who repigments FAST even with small trauma.
