This Privacy Notice ("Notice") describes how Aging Beautified, LLC d/b/a Beautélanin® Skincare ("Beautélanin® Skincare," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and otherwise processes personal information in connection with our websites, mobile applications, and other online services; our in-person interactions with you (e.g., in our physical treatment room, at an in-person event); and our other interactions with you (collectively, the "Services"). This Notice is not a contract and does not create any legal rights or obligations.

When we use the term "personal information," we mean information that identifies, relates to, describes, is reasonably capable of being associated with, or could reasonably be linked, directly or indirectly, to you or your household. It does not include aggregated or de-identified information that is not reasonably capable of being associated with or linked to you.

Depending on how you interact with us, we may collect:

  • Health and Skin Information — skin concerns, treatment history, skincare routines, allergies, sensitivities, environmental exposures, and lifestyle factors shared during consultations, intake forms, virtual assessments, or treatment planning
MRBUP® Assessment Information

We may collect information voluntarily provided through consultation forms, treatment intake documents, photographs, questionnaires, skin history assessments, environmental exposure histories, and MRBUP® assessment tools for the purpose of providing personalized skincare recommendations, educational services, and treatment planning.

Sources of Personal Information

  • Directly from you — intake forms, consultation forms, educational registrations, event registrations, skin assessment tools, and other voluntarily provided content
  • Business partners — companies that co-sponsor our promotions
  • Analytics and advertising partners — online advertising networks and analytics providers
  • Social media platforms — Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Pinterest, Snapchat, and Instagram, subject to their policies and your settings
  • Third-party sites — sites that allow integration of third-party accounts with your account
  • Other individuals — family or friends who refer you to our products or services

We may combine personal information from various sources, including information collected offline, across devices, and from third parties.

How We Disclose Personal Information

We do not sell or share your phone number or consent to receive calls or texts with other parties for their own telemarketing purposes. We may de-identify or aggregate personal information and disclose it to third parties for purposes consistent with this Notice.

Retention of Photographs

Client photographs may be retained as part of treatment records.

Our Commitment

Before-and-after photographs will never be used for marketing purposes without the client's separate written authorization.

Children's Privacy

The Platform is intended for adults. We do not knowingly collect or solicit information from anyone under the age of 18. Minors may only receive services with the consent of a parent or legal guardian where permitted by law. If we learn that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 18, we will delete it as quickly as possible. If you believe we may have collected personal information from a child under 16, please contact us at dataprivacy@beautelaninskincare.com.

Tracking Technologies, Interest-Based Advertising & Analytics

Cookies & Other Tracking Technologies

We and our partners use cookies, pixel tags, and other tracking technologies to collect information such as your IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, and email interaction data. We use this information to remember your login, provide personalized content, recognize you across devices, and enhance your experience.

Interest-Based Advertising

We engage in interest-based advertising and permit third-party networks and social media companies to collect information about your Platform use to display tailored advertisements. You may opt out through:

Google Analytics

We use Google Analytics to understand Platform interactions. To opt out, install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-On. Manage Google advertising preferences at google.com/ads/preferences.

Your Choices & Legal Rights

Marketing Communications

You can opt out of marketing communications at any time by emailing dataprivacy@beautelaninskincare.com or following unsubscribe instructions in any promotional message. You will still receive transactional messages.

Your Legal Rights

Depending on your U.S. state residency, you may have the right to:

To appeal a decision, contact the same address. If unsatisfied, you may have the right to complain to your state's Attorney General.

California Privacy Rights

The California Consumer Privacy Act of 2018, as amended by the California Privacy Rights Act (collectively, the "CCPA"), provides California residents with additional rights regarding their personal information.

Your CCPA Rights

  • Disclose the categories and specific pieces of personal information collected about you in the past 12 months, the sources, business purposes, and third parties to whom we disclosed your information
  • Correct inaccurate personal information we maintain about you
  • Delete the personal information we have collected from you, subject to certain exceptions

California residents may submit a Privacy Rights Request by emailing dataprivacy@beautelaninskincare.com with the subject line "Privacy Rights Request." We will require verification of up to three pieces of personal information before responding. We will not discriminate against you for exercising your rights.

Opt-Out of Sale or Sharing

If you are 16 years of age or older, you have the right to direct us not to "sell" or "share" your personal information. Click "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information" in the footer of our website, or email dataprivacy@beautelaninskincare.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell or Share My Personal Information." We honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal where available. We do not sell or share the personal information of individuals we know to be under 16.

Sensitive Personal Information

We collect certain "sensitive personal information" as defined in the CCPA. We do not use or disclose such information outside of the limited permissible purposes set forth in CCPA regulations, including providing Services, preventing security incidents, and maintaining quality of Services.

Information Security

We employ and maintain reasonable administrative, physical, and technical measures designed to safeguard and protect personal information under our control from loss, misuse, unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, and destruction.

However, the Internet is not 100% secure. Like all businesses, we cannot guarantee the security of personal information provided via the Platform. We encourage you to use caution when using the Internet and to protect your username and password.

Cross-Border Transfers

The Platform is directed only to U.S. consumers. We will transfer and/or store personal information in the United States and/or other countries where we have facilities or engage service providers. If you live outside of the United States, you understand and agree that we may transfer your personal information to the United States. When we do, we take appropriate steps to ensure your information is protected in accordance with applicable law.

Information Retention

We retain personal information as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this Notice, unless a longer retention period is required or allowed under law. To determine the appropriate retention period, we consider the amount, nature, and sensitivity of the information; the potential risk of harm from unauthorized use or disclosure; the purposes for which we use the information; and applicable legal requirements.

If we de-identify information, we will maintain and use it in de-identified form and not attempt to re-identify it except as required or permitted by law.

MRBUP® Behavior Assessment Framework & Skin Analysis Privacy Statement

Beautélanin® may offer virtual or in-person skin assessments utilizing photographs, consultation forms, client interviews, and our proprietary MRBUP® Behavior Assessment Framework.

Information collected may include:

  • Skin photographs
  • Treatment history
  • Product usage history
  • Environmental exposure information
  • Lifestyle and wellness information
  • Self-reported skin concerns

This information is used solely to:

  • Provide skincare recommendations
  • Support treatment planning
  • Deliver educational services
  • Improve client experiences
  • Improve Beautélanin® assessment methodologies
Photograph Protection

Beautélanin® does not sell photographs submitted for consultations. Photographs and assessment records are maintained only as long as reasonably necessary to provide services, comply with legal obligations, and maintain business records.

Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy

This policy supplements our Privacy Notice and applies to "consumer health data" under U.S. state privacy laws, including Washington's My Health My Data Act (MHMDA) and Nevada's consumer health privacy law.

  • Information that could identify your attempt to seek health-related services

With Whom We Share Consumer Health Data

We share consumer health data with affiliates, business partners, research partners, governmental and public authorities, and other parties where required or consented to. We will obtain your consent before sharing your consumer health data.

Exercising Your Health Data Rights

To exercise your rights to access, delete, or withdraw consent relating to your consumer health data, email dataprivacy@beautelaninskincare.com with the subject line "Washington Consumer Health Data Request" and state which rights you seek to exercise.

Professional Disclaimer

Beautélanin® Skincare provides cosmetic, wellness, educational, and esthetic services. Information collected through consultations, assessments, intake forms, educational programs, workshops, and skincare services is used solely for cosmetic, wellness, educational, and client-service purposes.

Medical Disclaimer

Beautélanin® does not diagnose, treat, cure, or prevent disease. Nothing contained on this website, in consultations, educational materials, assessments, workshops, or services should be construed as medical advice. Clients are encouraged to consult with their physician, dermatologist, or other licensed healthcare provider regarding medical concerns or conditions.

Proprietary Frameworks & Intellectual Property

Beautélanin® utilizes proprietary educational and assessment methodologies including MRBUP®, NoirScience™, MelanoMatrix-D™, MEL-D™, and related frameworks. Information collected through these systems may be used in aggregated or de-identified form for educational development, research, statistical analysis, and program improvement. No personally identifiable information will be disclosed without the client's consent unless required by law.

Virtual Consultations

Information submitted during virtual consultations — photographs, videos, written responses, intake forms, and treatment histories — is used solely to provide consultation services, educational guidance, treatment planning, and customer support.

Educational Programs & Events

Beautélanin® may collect personal information when individuals register for educational programs, workshops, webinars, practitioner training programs, certification programs, community events, or wellness retreats. This information is used solely to administer and improve educational services and programs.

Minors

Beautélanin® services are intended primarily for individuals 18 years of age or older. Where permitted by law, services may be provided to minors only with the consent of a parent or legal guardian.
